Reach-Up Basketball Program
January - March
Location: Mayfield Field House
Download Registration Form - Register by December 31st. All players must attend practice/evaluation Sunday, January 10, 2009 from 1:00PM to 3:00PM at the Field House of Mayfield High School Gym from 1:30 till 3:30 PM. Season starts January 17th and runs through March 7th. Contact Steve or Lisa Saneda with questions.
Registration Fee per Family:
$69 per child
$60 each additional child
About 170 children on 16 teams participate each Winter supported by 50 coaches, assistant coaches, referees, and other adults. About 75% of the children involved are from the local community.
This sports ministry was started in 1997 by Chuck Fazio to teach basketball skills and the importance of cooperation and team work. It does not stress competition or winning.
At half-time, all teams gather at center court for devotions and a talk on Christian life values.
