MOPS meetings will resume Friday, September 12th - Have a fun summer!
At our meetings, the 2nd Friday of every month (September - May) 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM, moms have the opportunity to make new friends, share experiences, laugh together, and learn Biblical principles pertaining to womanhood and parenting. MOPS is a program for moms, by moms, and meet the needs of every mom with children from birth to kindergarten. MOPS recognizes that all moms - urban, suburban, and rural moms, stay-at-home and working moms, teen, single, and married moms - share a similar desire to be the very best moms they can be!
We enjoy breakfast together, listen to a great speaker, and make a fun craft while our kids have a blast participating in their own age-appropriate program. The 4th Friday of the month, 9:30 AM - 12:00 PM, we get together and have fellowship in a playgroup setting.
Dwelling: Living Fully from the Space You Call Home
In Mary Beth Lagerborg's book, Dwelling, we learn that creating a comfortable home means being intentional about more than just the rooms in your house. It means cultivating relationships that flourish there. With Dwelling, you can celebrate the home you have, its people and possibilities, and move onward in creating the type of space your soul desires.
Join us for:
- A time for adult conversation and refreshments without little hands in your plate!
- A time to enjoy speakers addressing issues related to womanhood, parenting, and the home.
- A time for connecting and sharing ideas as well as an opportunity to meet new friends.
- A time to complete a creative project and learn new skills.
Each meeting costs $5.00. This covers the cost of childcare (MOPPETS) craft materials, speaker fees, and lots of laughter, love, and support.
We meet at the Mayfield Church in Chesterland. Take the elevator to the Lower Level and look for the nursery on your left.
