Family Celebrates New Habitat Home
We rejoice with Brenda Powell and her daughter, Brooke, who are recipients of a Geauga County Habitat for Humanity house.
The house in Munson, is being renovated now. The hope is that Brenda and Brooke can move in sometime in August, so Brooke, who is 6, can begin second grade in her new school system.
This is Geauga County Habitat for Humanity's 70th house. A "groundbreaking" ceremony was held on Wednesday, June 2. It included a house blessing, with Pastor Jan offering prayers for Brenda, Brooke and the Habitat volunteers who will be working on the house and constructing a one-car garage.
