Peace with Justice Ministry
"God blesses those who work for peace, for they will be called children of God."
Matthew 5:9
This ministry seeks to transform the world after the example of Christ so that peace and justice are a reality for all people.
Vision Statement:
We are called by the Holy Spirit to become renewed in Christ and to become the people of God in our dealings with one another and with God's Earth.
Using the teachings of Jesus Christ and the social reforms of John Wesley as our guide, our goal is to provide the congregation with resource materials on justice, peace and integrity of God's creation; to inform them of current issues in these areas; and to encourage the study and application of the United Methodist Social Principles.
We participate in local, national, and international outreach efforts that build community, seek justice for people in need, promote green Earth, and advocate for peace and justice in the world. Our activities include speakers and video series, letter writing, voter registration and education
