Children & Youth Activities at Mayfield Church
This is a fun and active stage in your child’s life. We are happy to have them move over to our Mustard Seed Room where we look forward to teaching them that God made them special and that He loves each one of them through short bible stories and hands on play. Each Sunday our staff and volunteers work hard to create a safe and fun experience. The doors will open 15 minutes prior Sunday Morning worship service times.
All of our volunteers go through a detailed screening, background check and adhere to the Mayfield United Methodist Church’s Child Protection Policy.

The volunteers and staff in our Mustard Seed room have been chosen for this age group because of their love for toddlers and their passion for play.
To make the transition a smooth one, it is as easy as 1,2,3.
- Please bring bottles, diapers and any special cuddlies that will help to soothe your baby during the morning. Please be sure to label all of your children’s items.
- Please complete the sign in sheet with your name, your child’s name and your pager number. (Numbered pagers are available for parents at the Nursery counter.)
- Please make staff aware of any known allergies and/or other health concerns.
At Mayfield United Methodist Church, ministry and fellowship don’t just happen on Sundays, but all through the week. Here are some other ways to get you & your child can get involved:
Preschool Storytime
Children & their care givers join Miss Stacy for simple bible songs, dance, prayer time while visiting and learning different Bible Stories.
Date: Tuesdays, September-May (contact Director of Children & Family Ministries to check for any schedule changes)
