Volunteer Opportunities
Volunteer opportunities include service at the church and in the community.
MUMC Openings:
- Bookstore
- Communications Team: Guides the development and implementation of internal communications with the congregation and external communications with the community regarding our ministries.
- Greeters and Ushers: Needed at all services to welcome people at each entry door and hand out bulletins, receive offerings, and perform ushering responsibilities during worship and other special services.
- Hospitality Ministry: Provides gracious food service for church fellowship events, Sunday morning fellowship hour, community dinners, funeral and wedding receptions, etc. We are currently seeking a Kitchen Coordinator or cook to prepare meals for Heartland Child Care during the weekdays, Thursday evenings and Sunday afternoons for youth activites, and Sundays 8:30AM - 1:00PM.
- Lawn Care Ministry
- Nursery Room: Children's caregivers and nursery workers needed at all servcies and other church activities to provide childcare for children at the church so parents can participate in worship, small groups, and classes.
- Sunday School Teachers: For all, especially children's class teachers and helpers so we can effectively share the Christian faith with the children God has entrusted to our care.
- Vacation Bible School: Will be held July 28th through August 1st from 9:30AM - 12:30PM. In addition to activity leaders and guides, we are in need of a co-director. Please contact Stacy Becker 440-729-4006 ext. 105 if you are interested.
