Mission: Our mission is to guide each young person to discover Christ’s LOVE personally so that they grow, and they will not turn from it.

Purpose: Our goal is to create an environment of acceptance and joy so that young people will be open to learn about Christ’s love and ways.
Ref. Proverbs 22:6

Organization: In Children’s Ministries planning and programming decisions are made by the Children’s Ministry Council and the Director of Children and Family Ministries. Programs are designed to communicate Christian beliefs and share the good news of God’s love in a manner that is meaningful to children birth through sixth grade.

Children and Worship
At Mayfield United Methodist church, the children are not a hidden secret during worship services. Children of all ages are invited to attend any worship service in the Worship Center with family and friends. We worship with the children and even for the children in some instances.

Children are divided into age-appropriate groups.
