Creating Accessible and Inclusive Spaces for All.
We create a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere where everyone feels valued and respected, regardless of their background, beliefs, or abilities. We give thanks for how God has created each person and try to find a good fit for each one of us to be included. If you have individual questions, please feel free to contact Rev. Beth Wilterdink or Jess Martz (for questions about our children's ministry).
Community Engagement:
We actively seek to engage with and learn from people with disabilities and other marginalized groups to ensure our spaces and practices are truly inclusive.

Diverse Leadership:
We encourage and support diverse leadership within our congregation, including children and adults with various abilities and disabilities who participate throughout the life of our church community. They are included in small groups, Sunday School, greeting, serving, music, and leading.

Physical Accessibility:
We strive to make our worship spaces physically accessible to all, including those with mobility limitations. This means providing ramps, accessible restrooms, and designated seating areas for individuals using wheelchairs or other mobility devices. In the Worship Center, we have wheelchair-accessible seating and seating with armrests.
Sensory Accessibility:
We also consider sensory needs, such as providing quiet spaces. Located on the sides of the Worship Center is a room for nursing moms, as well as a prayer room for quiet reflection. On the lower level, there is space in the gathering area that is available for those who are easily overwhelmed by noise or bright lights.
Communication Accessibility:
We aim to ensure clear and accessible communication where possible. This includes providing large print materials in bulletins and announcements. The bulletins are emailed on Friday before Sunday's services. Microphones are used when speaking, reading, or singing in worship to provide clear audio to ensure members can hear and understand. Our Worship Services are live-streamed & recorded for homebound members. We also have a Hearing Loop System for people with hearing aids- the hearing devices are available at the Welcome Desk.

Inclusive Worship Practices:
We strive to design worship services that are inclusive and engaging for all, incorporating a variety of styles and formats. We have kid kits available by the pillars in the Worship Center, but adults are welcome to take notes, doodle, and draw to engage with worship.
Inclusive Communion:
Communion is a sacred act of worship, and everyone should be able to participate fully. Our servers can bring communion to individuals who cannot come forward, so please let an usher know of the need. We also offer a gluten-free option for communion.
We know that there is always more to learn, if you have suggestions, please let us know.
