A Look at Sunday Morning
When you arrive, you are greeted at the door by people who can answer any questions you have and direct you to the Worship Center or Fellowship Hall. If you have children, they can point you to the nursery, preschool, and youth worship area where children can play and learn under an adult's supervision while you worship.
We offer two services on Sunday morning:
At 9:30, the approach is modern, with praise music, electric guitars, and drums.
At 11 AM, the service is traditional and features the Chancel Choir and organ music.
As you enter the Worship Center, the usher will hand you a bulletin containing upcoming events and activities plus the outline of the service. We ask everyone to complete a Connection Card in order to get better acquainted with new people.
Every other month, we practice an open Communion Table, which means that you do not have to be a member of Mayfield, or a United Methodist, to participate.
You are invited after the service to gather in Fellowship Hall for coffee and refreshments and say hello to Rev. Beth and Rev. Jan!
