Baptism
Baptism is a sacrament of initiation into the body of Christ, the church. It is the beginning of a covenant
with God for your life-long journey
as a disciple of Jesus Christ.
We believe that baptism is an outward sign of the inward grace of God. Baptism is grounded in the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ; the grace which baptism makes available is the atonement of Christ which makes possible our reconciliation with God.
The Holy Spirit is at work through this sacrament of salvation Baptism incorporates new members into the church, to promote spiritual growth. It identifies the one as a baptized Christian. It signifies death, rebirth, and new life in Jesus Christ. And, it assures us that our sins are forgiven. We offer baptism classes several times a year but are always willing to meet with families or individuals interested in being baptized. Infants, children, and adults are all welcome to partake in the sacrament of baptism.

The link below will direct to a webform with questions meant to help us get to know you and how we can help you as you prepare for your celebration. If you don’t have all these answers to these questions yet, that’s okay. We will give you a call within a few days to follow up and begin talking about the process as we move forward.

Confirmations
For our teens that have been baptized as infants, we invite them to reaffirm their baptism and take their next step in faith through confirmation. Confirmation typically begins in the fall, meeting regularly to discuss scripture and our faith. The completion of confirmation is in the spring, around Easter as we celebrate the resurrection and new life in Christ.
Please reach out to one of the pastors about confirmation classes. 440-729-4006.
