Helps wherever there are needs in these elementary schools. We serve as tutors and classroom aides; provide school supplies, snack bags at school breaks, emergency food/clothing and teacher appreciation gifts; and assist the Rowland PTA with events.

Angel Tree Prison Ministry 
Provides Christmas presents to children who have a parent in prison. Opportunities exist for calling the families to determine the needs, staffing the ministry table after services and buying/wrapping, sorting or delivering the gifts.

“Happy Packers” Food Bank Team
Sorts and repacks food for the 400 agencies helped by the Cleveland Food Bank. Meets at the parking lot of the old church (6621 Wilson Mills Road, Mayfield) at 8:30 AM on the second and fourth Tuesday of the month, car-pools to the food bank (15500 South Waterloo Road, Cleveland) and returns at 12:15 PM

Hunger Network Walk 
Raises money for Cleveland’s Hunger Centers by sponsoring a team from Mayfield for the walk.

Mayfield Church and the East Ohio Conference partners with Bethel Church in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe, to provide education and bring the community to Christ through Emsizini Secondary School.  We provide a physical presence at the mission as well as ongoing spiritual and financial support.

Mayfield Church partners with Catalyst Resources International in Guatemala to  build houses and churches, feed hungry children, build chicken coops and hen houses for needy families, conduct Vacation Bible School, install stoves and provide clean drinking water.

Mayfield Church and the East Ohio Conference partners with the United Methodist Church in Voronezh, Russia, the home of Camp Crystal UM camp. Previous activities have included assisting at a camp for special needs children and their families, and various repair and building projects.
