United Women in Faith Mission u 2025 Registration Open

Mission u 2025, will be held at University of Mount Union, 1972 Clark Avenue, Alliance, Ohio 44601. Friday, July 18th at 3:00 pm until Sunday, July 20th at 12 noon. Executive team will meet on Friday, July 18th at 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. in the Campus Center – Alumni Room.

Early Response Team (ERT) Training Saturday, May 31, 2025

Learn best practices for responding as a volunteer in disaster situations. Training includes how to interact with survivors, help survivors recover belongings, tarp roofs, and safely remove debris. Successful completion of the training and a background check by UMCOR is required to receive your credentials as a certified United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR) ERT volunteer for three years. If your UMCOR ERT certification is due to expire this year, you can recertify and you will not need to stay the whole day. If you need to know your certification date, you can contact Melanie Thomas by e-mail or at (330) 499-3972 x102.
 

The UMCOR Certified Trainers will be Bob Catchpole and Tom King. The last day to register is May 28. 
 

When: Saturday, May 31 from 8:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.

Where: Independence UMC, 6615 Brecksville Rd, Independence, OH 44131

Midwest Mission Collection Truck on Campus – June 12-13
The collection truck for Midwest Mission, an EOC Advance partner (Fund 9944), will be parked in lot #29 off University Street during Annual Conference. Staff will be present to receive donations on:

• Thursday, June 12 from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m.

• Friday, June 13 from 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
