The Bible Recap (TBR) follows a chronological Bible reading plan and is a short daily recap by creator & host, Tara-Leigh Cobble. She’ll highlight & summarize that day’s Bible reading in a casual, easy to understand way.

THE BIBLE RECAP IS HERE TO HELP!  TBR comes in 3 forms - book, podcast, or video. In just 12 minutes a day, you can read the entire Bible in 2026! Add 8 minutes for The Bible Recap, & you’ll be reading, understanding & loving God’s word in just 20 minutes a day!

WHEN WILL WE KICK THIS OFF?  Mayfield Church will begin this challenge on JANUARY 1, 2026 and go through DECEMBER 31, 2026. There will be Growth Groups, and hopefully some Life Groups & Relational Groups who will help hold each other accountable through this journey. Watch for ways to get involved!

Choose your own adventure & how you participate! Pick how you’d like to follow along with our Bible reading plan/recap with us. We have digital OR print options, or you can do a combination! Digital options are free. You can download the Bible App (free) and follow the TBR page for access to plans. On biblerecap.com, you’ll find access to daily emails, a google calendar, videos, podcasts, or YouTube.

If you’d like additional materials, or a hard copy book, there’s an additional cost. Books are available at Target, Amazon, christianbook.com, and most places where books can be purchased. We won’t have them for sale at the church, however, if you need assistance in ordering, please see Pastor Beth or Pastor Becky.

TBR is also for Children & Youth! These resources will help even the youngest Bible readers engage with God’s Word in ways they can understand & enjoy. TBR is also available in SPANISH & ASL!

We’ll celebrate the milestones of this journey through 66 books of the Bible over the course of 12 months!
