Youth Ministries

Grades 6th - 12th
Dear Youth & Families,
As we step into a new season of ministry, I’m excited about all that God has in store for our teens this fall. This is a time for deepening faith, building friendships, and finding meaningful ways to live as disciples of Jesus Christ.
As your lead pastor, I feel a deep commitment to our children and youth, and I am excited about all of the growth we’ve seen in the past year. I’ll be leading our dedicated team of volunteers and partnering with Pastor Becky to guide our youth in their faith journey. Together, we aim to create a safe, welcoming environment where students can grow spiritually, build strong connections, and discover their place in God’s story. Ministry thrives when everyone brings their unique gifts to strengthen the body of Christ. I’m truly grateful for the adults who make this team so strong.
Sunday Mornings – Worship & Serve
This year, in place of Sunday school, we’re encouraging our youth to attend Sunday Services with their families. We’ve added sensory stations for all ages to help keep engaged during the service. Worship and prayer are vital practices for a growing faith, and we want our teens to know they are a vital part of the church community.
We’re also inviting students to serve in a ministry area once a month - whether it’s greeting, ushering, worship assistant, tech sound/slides, children’s ministry, music, or another area they feel called to - so they can actively serve and worship regularly.
Sunday Nights – “Echo the Story”
Our Sunday night youth group will be a combination of Bible study, fun activities, and serving together. Our
Bible study will be diving into Echo the Story, a creative and interactive journey through the Old Testament this year, leading us into the New Testament next year. Expect meaningful discussions, laughter, and moments where God’s Word comes alive. Activities are listed in the Church Center App, where you can RSVP for events.
Midweek Bible Study – We Need Your Input!
We’re planning to launch midweek Bible study—for middle schoolers and high schoolers. We’d love to know which day and time works best for your family. Click HERE to provide your preference.
Friends are always welcome, as we offer Christ in our community all around us. Let’s make this fall a season where our youth grow in faith, serve with joy, and find their place in God’s story.
In Christ's Service and Grace,
Rev. Beth Wilterdink
